Green Energy Concept

Consumers, politicians and authorities make heavy demands on agriculture ranging from safety over animal, plant welfare and to the general environment. It is therefore more important than ever for the agricultural sector to match the new demands and requirements. Green Energy, a farmer based company, meets the challenges and seeks to develop agriculture instead of waiting for additional regulations. There is no reason to believe that the demands will ease in the future. It is the consumers who set the agenda. In order to secure a sustainable development in general and a green image for agriculture in the future, it is time for farmers / politicians / cities to consider proactively the agriculture of tomorrow in cooperation with Green Energy.

Green Energy has developed an overall solution for future agriculture and human society based on new biogas - and separations plants. The solution meets the demands of consumers and politicians. At the same time, it is profitable for the individual farmers and bring along a number of agricultural benefits for farming and clean human life. Slurry, solid manure, deep litter, etc. is transformed to pure fertilizers of commercial quality. The slurry is done away with. The operation of the energy plant is furthermore integrated with the operation of human and animal houses and agricultural fields which give a number of combined advantages. For instance, the process water from the energy plant is used for daily flushing of the slats, canals, etc. in the animal houses, while the pure N and P fertilizers can be added according to precision farming. The reject water is irrigated to fields. The system generates a number of operational advantages as well as advantages for food safety and quality, animal, plant health, and welfare as well as advantages for energy and environment.

It is fundamental to Green Energy that the investment is recovered within a few years time as calculated solely on the total investment and energy output, i.e. without taking into account the additional agricultural and human environmental benefits. Food Safety

Food safety is of fundamental importance to the consumers. Green Energy ensures an effective elimination of pathogenic bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella DT104, etc. without the use of polluting chemicals. The bacteria are not spread to the environment and the risks of infecting humans and animals are therefore eliminated. The risk of cross infection among animals in the houses is either minimal or reduced all together.

The Future Agriculture and Human Society

Green Energy's primary objective is short pay back periods. As investment in *E biogas- and separation plants has short pay back times based solely on the energy production. In addition comes other advantages such as shaved expenses to agricultural land. The overall result being a more competitive agricultural sector.
